Psalm 37:23
The steps of good men are directed and established by the Lord. He (God) delights in each step they take. - God wants to direct your life. - God wants to show you which way to go. - God is interested in every step you take. - Don't take a step without Him. PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You would lead and guide me in every step I need to take today and in this New Year. Show me which way to go I pray. Amen. Revelation 3:8
'See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.' - God is the one who can open doors for us. - Perhaps you are facing a closed door today. - One door may be shut, but there are many others still open. - The joy is that we can know that the door to God is always open. PRAYER: Lord, thank You that the door is always open and I can come to You at any time. I pray that You will open the right doors for me in my life and close those that would be the wrong path for me to follow. Amen. Psalm 119:60
'I hurried and did not procrastinate to keep Your commands.' - As human beings we love to put things off or delay things. - Sometimes we have a 'tomorrow is another day' mentality. - But when it comes to God we should not procrastinate. - We should, instead, be determined to follow God NOW. PRAYER: Lord, it is my heart's desire to follow You without delay. Forgive me for procrastinating and I declare that from this day forward my heart, soul, mind and strength is set on following You. Amen. Psalm 27:5
'In the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; He shall set me up upon a rock.' - You can find a refuge with God in times of trouble. - When the world seems as if it is against you, He is not. - When you face challenges on every side, He is still with you. - He is the rock and He remains your final refuge, Andre. PRAYER: Lord, may my soul find rest in You alone. May the fact that You are my rock carry me through the storms and the challenges of life! Amen. Isaiah 25:4
'You have been a defense for the helpless, a defense for the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm and a shade from the heat.' - The Lord wants to come and give strength and power to His people. - He understands the issues and challenges we face in life. - And He offers us a refuge and a place of safety. - No matter what the storm may be, run to your refuge. PRAYER: Lord, I want to take a moment to remind myself that You are my refuge. I choose to place my trust and confidence in You right now. Amen. Romans 8:1
'Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ.' - God does not condemn you. - He loves you and His desire is that you would receive His love. - His loving arms are always wide open, ready to receive us. - Run, run to Him, there is no better place. PRAYER: Lord, thank You for Your love towards me. Thank You that You do not condemn me but You are always ready to receive me. Amen. Romans 6:23
'For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.' - Sin may offer a momentary pleasure. - But it guarantees long-term disaster. - God offers us real life and it is eternal and abundant. - Why would you settle for anything less than the best that God has for you? PRAYER: Lord, forgive me for those things that I have done which have displeased You. I choose You and the eternal, abundant life that You offer me. Amen. Romans 8:39
'Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God.' - The magnitude of God's love is more than we could conceive. - His love for you knows no end. - He doesn't want us to ever feel like we are separated from His love. - So, no matter how you may be feeling, remember He loves you. PRAYER: Lord, I receive Your great love in my heart and life. May I never doubt Your love and may I always remember that nothing can separate me from Your love. Amen. Verse: Isaiah 49:5 (Amplified Bible)
For I am honorable in the eyes of the Lord and my God has become my strength. - Each one of us is valuable and precious to God. - No matter what others have said - you are valuable. - God is looking for those who will trust and obey Him. - God needs to become your strength, Andre. DECLARATION: God will honour those who make HIM their strength! I declare that God is my strength! 2 Timothy 4:18
'The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom.' - The Lord will rescue and deliver you. - Things may look as though they are impossible. - You may even feel as if you are facing an attack. - But He will be your rescuer and He will bring you through this. PRAYER: Lord, thank You that You will rescue me from every evil attack on my life and on my situation. You will come through for me. Amen. |
